Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is often called “tapping”. It is a gentle and effective healing system that reduces the stress that underlies many of today’s diseases. Scientific studies have proven that EFT is a successful way to reduce stress and restore balance and harmony to the mind and the body.

EFT can trace its roots from the basic acupuncture of China over 3000 years ago. It works on the principles that have been accepted for thousands of years in Eastern medicine and philosophy, and that Western medicine and science are now starting to accept. Since that time it has gained massively in popularity, mainly because of its effectiveness in dealing with many emotional and physical problems. EFT is one of the simplest forms of meridian therapies to use. The National Health Service has used EFT in some specialist areas.

By gently tapping on the body’s energy meridians, EFT clears and balances the energy flow within your body. EFT not only works on an emotional level, but has a high success rate with physical symptoms, pain control and post traumatic stress (PTSD). EFT is highly effective for stress management issues. It is also used widely for fears, phobias, insomnia, self-image issues and performance issues (sports, public speaking, etc).

It is widely recognised that emotional trauma contributes greatly to physical disease and emotional imbalance. EFT has been shown to reduce the emotional impact of memories that act as a trigger for physical and emotional distress. EFT assists healing by helping you to remove or reduce the distress that is attached to the emotion created by unpleasant memories and past traumas.
